Early this year Ofsted slammed Tory controlled Bucks County Council for its ‘inconsistent and piecemeal’ approach to  ‘inadequate’ children’s services.   The official watchdog warned that a high turnover of social workers, and  high caseloads were leaving vulnerable children ‘at risk’ and in ‘vulnerable circumstances’. The Inspectors warned that whilst there have been improvements since the last inspection in 2014:

Some children are still not having the right help and support that they need at the time when they need it most.
