Our youngest member has been on local TV and radio, and got support from footballer
Marcus Rashford, for his efforts to provide free school meals, when the Government won’t.
14-year old Sulayman was so outraged by the Government’s decision not to provide free
school meals during the half-term holiday, and inspired by footballer Rashford, he organised
volunteers to provide around 100 free school meals every day for families in need in
Buckingham.

Family, friends, volunteers, and some fellow Party members rallied to help – with everyone
being driven by his passion, vision and compassion. Sulayman also provided free

This is not a Labour Party project, but it does provide an inspiring example of how we can
live our values, rather than just talk, by converting intention into intervention, and being
more visible in the community — building the relationships with our neighbours that we will
need if we are to gain their trust, and their vote.
